New board for British Surfing Museum

We are building a Waimea Gun for the British Surfing Musuem. The board is made with Balsa, and Western Red Cedar. Follow the build at our new Musuem page!!

Garrett Mcnamara, one of the Pioneers of tow in surfing with Helicopters, has agreed for HWSurfboards.com to build him a Tow Board to ride in the North Shore, Hawaii! This is huge for HWSurfboards, and we have been liaising with Garrett over the last few weeks to sure up the dimensions. Stay tuned for progress of the build, and footage of the great man riding the board!

The Catchawave Board

Finished the Catchawave.co.uk board. This board has turned out better than I hoped for. It is always difficult to replicate a tried & tested board, but by reverse engineering the original, and putting in a rounded pin tail, we achieved something cool. Pics will be posted up soon.

LD Project
Update 15th January 2010
The LD project is back on track!! HW Surfboards, in collaboration with www.catchawave.co.uk are building a short board for sponsored rider Luke Dillon. We aim to hand the board over in the summer and all media will be captured by Catchawave Surf media.
We are building the board based on Lukes current board dimensions. We are excited by the project, and looking forward to posting the video on our site
